There is a very smug looking lizard in my room.
The aforementioned lizard has apparently discovered something plant-like enough to his taste, and has decided to partake of this plant-like stuff. Which seems to be very much to his taste. I suspect this is an attempt at drawing some attention, since Amanda isn't there to shower him with love and fruity bits as much as he wants. Or something like that.
The plant-like stuff is actually derived from wood pulp.
Damn it. I liked that book. A lot. It was hard to find too.
Gnrng.
I'm just gonna go be a good sunlamp now. How do lizards manage googly eyes anyway?
*sigh*

Date: 2005-01-06 03:20 am (UTC)Who's supposed to be looking after him since she's gone?
Bill her for the replacement. Or maybe I can help - what's the title of the book again?
You don't have to be embarrassed - we all have literary skeletons in our closets.
Salaam,
Haroun

And... it's not the price so much as the finding it again.
It's not embarassing. Well. No. Not. I just used to get teased a lot for it. :p Something along the lines of rockstar wannabes not needing to spend time reading that.
...
You have literary skeletons in your closet?
Doesn't everyone?

Date: 2005-01-06 04:14 am (UTC)And I'm not grumpy. I'm defensive about my reading habits.
There's a difference.
Besides, if you want me to ungrump you know where I am.

And I'll bring them along when I wander over to ungrump you. Soon as I can convince Frank to stop making googly eyes at me and maybe let me keep that last bit of book...

Date: 2005-01-06 04:40 am (UTC)What do you consider light reading? English is not my first language, although I like to think I'm fairly fluent.
