Anyone have any books they'd like to refer to me, for reading? I've been working through the backlog on my reading shelf lately and finding new stuff to look into is being considered just now. Any topic is good, I can handle English and Spanish and if I push it real hard, maybe French. (I may need help on the French if it makes use of something other than the general popular terms/language though. So if you suggest that, be ready to be nagged and stuff.)

Oh! And Hank? The origami critters are still a hit. Thank you. Miles asked me how to make cranes so I showed him - but I thought you might want to show him how to make some of the others? Some of those I wouldn't have the first clue how to go about making anyway. You went pretty wild there, pun unintended. ;)

Naaaaaaaaaaaathan!

So yeah, we came back a day earlier than planned (that would have been me shambling up the stairs and heading to my room to fall flat on my face, last night. Not sure who I nearly walked right into, but sorry about that. Eep.)

One day, there will be vacations which will last the full run, not involve anything happening other than maybe a decent suntan and lots of beach time, and generally be as nicely boring as can be.

Hank? There will be an official "fetching of the boy" happening later I'm told, since last night was informal and he was already half-asleep, and apparently there is something going on that I'm not to be told about until later. Which, you know, sounds like fun even if I get the feeling I'm going to get to run around after someone short and green a fair bit. ;)

Have been buried in paperwork stuff every free moment today.

Which means you all get a last minute elective, if anyone wants something a little different for a change. ;) I talked to Ororo about it and she's good with people switching things around and the class hasn't been given a timeslot just yet so that we can work it out depending on the schedule of those interested.

History of Music
Exploring the social conditions & history behind the music

Right now the major modules are Rock and Roll in the US, Contemporary music in Japan and French Progressive Rock but I'll be looking for suggestions from whoever enrolls in the class for further modules as time goes by.

FYI - Since this is purely a history class, this isn't related to the Music classes, so no need to be able or to learn to play a musical instrument.
